At Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, we believe that accessible counselling should be available to everyone. We aim to offer a welcoming and inclusive experience and are always happy to discuss any adjustments you may need to feel comfortable and supported.
Our Henley Centre is located within a Grade II listed building, which brings character but also some physical limitations.
Therapy rooms are located on the first and second floors, and access is via stairs only.
Please be aware:
There is no lift access
There are multiple staircases
Ceilings are low in places
Floors may be uneven in parts, typical of historic buildings
Because of these features, the Henley Centre is not suitable for wheelchair users and may be challenging for people with limited mobility, balance difficulties, or certain sensory sensitivities.
If attending the Henley Centre in person is not suitable for you, we may be able to offer:
Online therapy sessions
Low-cost online support, where appropriate
Appointments at our Buckhurst Hill centre, which has ground-floor rooms
We’re always happy to talk through what might work best for you.
Accessibility means different things to different people. If you have sensory sensitivities, health conditions, anxiety about stairs, or other needs that might affect your visit, please let us know. While we can’t change the building itself, we will do our best to support you in finding a suitable option.
If you’re unsure whether the Henley Centre is right for you, or would like to discuss accessibility before booking, please get in touch.
Let us know how we can support you.
