Peer Supervision in Henley
Peer support and clinical supervision give counsellors and psychotherapists an important space in which to reflect on their work with clients and develop their practice.
Cherry Tree Centre has been running supervision groups since 2012. We invite counsellors and psychotherapists from a variety of therapeutic backgrounds to join us monthly. Bringing together different modalities and specialisms enhances learning and expands our therapeutic work with clients.
Supervision is also an opportunity to grow your therapeutic circle and network.
If you are a trainee and wish to count the peer supervision hours towards BACP requirements you will need to check that a qualified supervisor is present.
What to Expect
We have several rooms available for peer supervision. If it is a large group we will meet first for check-in before breaking into smaller groups. This allows each participant adequate time to share their case load. We will then reconvene as a larger group to discuss any themes and check out. Supervision is usually held for 2 hours.
Networking in Henley
Our networking groups are not based on eating breakfast or 60-second pitches. Our networking groups are about connection. We bring together people from therapeutic and wellbeing industries and we create a relaxed environment where they can get to know each other better.
Our groups are informal and often free to attend.
We have several rooms available for networking events and peer supervision. Our larger rooms can accommodate 8 people comfortably with many breakout rooms for smaller meetings.
