A calm, understanding space for neurodivergent adults
Living as a neurodivergent person can be both enriching and exhausting. You may feel different, misunderstood, overstimulated, or constantly adapting yourself to fit into environments that weren’t designed with you in mind. For some people, there’s a clear diagnosis; for others, there’s a growing sense of something that finally makes things make sense.
Many people arrive feeling unsure about labels, about whether they “belong”, or about how much to share. Others are simply looking for a space where they don’t have to explain themselves or mask as much.
At Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, our Neurodiversity Support Group offers a welcoming, respectful space for adults who identify as neurodivergent, are diagnosed with ADHD or autism, or are exploring this possibility.
The group is designed to feel steady, inclusive, and low-pressure. You don’t need to speak, perform, or arrive with a clear explanation of yourself. Some people come to listen, some to share, and many do both over time.
Sessions are facilitated by experienced professionals and focus on lived experience rather than labels. Conversations often explore sensory needs, relationships, work, identity, self-advocacy, and self-care, always guided by what feels relevant to the group. You are welcome whether you have a formal diagnosis or not.
