Specialist psychological support, thoughtfully delivered
At Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Henley, we offer psychological support for people who are experiencing emotional, psychological, or life challenges that feel complex, persistent, or overwhelming.
Our psychologists provide a calm, confidential space to explore difficulties, develop understanding, and work towards practical ways forward. Support is available for adults, couples, and young people aged 16 and over, with care tailored to your needs and circumstances.
Our psychologists work with people seeking support for a range of concerns, including:
Anxiety, stress, and low mood
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Obsessive or intrusive thoughts (including OCD)
Bereavement and loss
Relationship and family difficulties
Low self-esteem and confidence
Adjustment to health conditions, pain, or life changes
Neurodivergent experiences, including Autism and ADHD traits
Psychological therapy at Cherry Tree is evidence-based, collaborative, and carefully paced. Our psychologists draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused work, adapting sessions to your goals, preferences, and needs.
Rather than following a rigid model, therapy focuses on helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing, understand patterns or triggers, and develop strategies that feel realistic and supportive.
We also offer psychological consultation and support for individuals living with neurodiversity, long-term health conditions, or chronic pain, where emotional well-being and physical experience are closely connected.
We aim to offer a professional yet human experience of psychological support, where you feel listened to, respected, and involved in decisions about your care.
When you get in touch, we’ll begin with a short conversation to understand what you’re looking for and help guide you towards the most appropriate form of support.
