Our Approach / How It Works

Psychological therapy at Cherry Tree is evidence-based, collaborative, and carefully paced. Our psychologists draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused work, adapting sessions to your goals, preferences, and needs.

Rather than following a rigid model, therapy focuses on helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing, understand patterns or triggers, and develop strategies that feel realistic and supportive.

We also offer psychological consultation and support for individuals living with neurodiversity, long-term health conditions, or chronic pain, where emotional well-being and physical experience are closely connected.
