Craig Everard

Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

About Me:

I’m Craig Everard, I am a TA Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with 3 years of training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. I am a member of BACP and strive to uphold their ethos and ethical framework.

Before working as I counsellor I worked for  3 years in a psychiatric intensive care unit assisting with the treatment of those going through severe mental health difficulties as well as helping support their families. These difficulties ranged from but are not limited to:

  • Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Suicidal behaviours and thoughts
  • Trauma
  • PTSD/CPTSD
  • Abuse (Sexual, Physical and Psychological)
  • Body Image Conditions
  • Low self-esteem

Taking those initial steps from deciding to make a change, to then finding someone to help that you feel works for you can be incredibly nerve-racking, even if it isn’t the first time you are reaching out.

Sometimes when we experience change, trauma or repeated scenarios our thoughts, feelings or behaviours can feel shameful, dark and maybe even wrong. I offer a safe, confidential and non – judgemental environment for you to be heard and seen in. Whilst I am trained as a Transactional Analyst I treat all my clients as individuals as everyone may require something very different from me. I work with my clients to help them regain control over their lives and move forward to live their life to its fullest.

I am currently taking on new clients. Both individuals and couples.

I offer a free introductory phone call which usually lasts around 15/20 minutes.

My session fees are:

£60 – Individual

£100 – Couples

Craig Everard offers some concessions to those working within psychiatric care/keyworkers.
