I’m Josh, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist offering a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space to talk openly about your life experiences.
My work is grounded in a person-centred approach, placing you at the heart of the counselling process. I believe you are the expert in your own life and, with the right support and space, can develop greater self-awareness and find your way forward. I won’t judge you, tell you what to do or try to fit you into a particular way of thinking. Instead, I’ll listen with empathy and respect, working alongside you at a pace that feels right for you.
I work with people from all backgrounds and support a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, difficult experiences, addiction and feeling stuck. Counselling can provide space to slow down, understand what’s happening and consider what you need next.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting young men. Talking about emotions or asking for help can feel difficult, uncomfortable or even like a sign of weakness. I offer a space where you can speak honestly without judgement or pressure to have all the answers, and explore your experiences outside your usual circle of support.
I also have specific experience working with addiction, having completed 100 hours of therapeutic work in this area. I understand its impact on individuals, relationships and families, and provide a safe space to explore these experiences without shame or judgement.
I offer counselling in person and online, making support flexible and accessible.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can begin with a simple conversation about what has brought you to counselling and the support you’re looking for.
You don’t have to work it out alone.
