Lauren Rosher

CORST Accredited psychosexual psychotherapist working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.

Lauren specialises in the intersection of neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identities, and sexual wellbeing. Her practice is built for those navigating the world outside of neurotypical and heteronormative scripts. She focuses on sex and intimacy after unmasking, moving away from societal “shoulds” toward a connection that actually functions for your specific brain, body, and identity.

The Approach

Lauren is active, direct, and collaborative, moving beyond passive listening to intervene in stagnant patterns. Her work is talk-based and adheres strictly to COSRT ethical frameworks; while sessions do not involve touch or bodywork, they are deeply informed by Gestalt and somatic techniques. By pulling clients out of intellectualised overthinking and into their physical reality, she helps them process how their bodies hold tension and desire. Having trained at the School of Sensual Arts, Lauren integrates Tantric principles and energy work to help clients shift away from performative, structured sex toward a meaningful, unmasked connection.

Relational Dynamics

She works extensively with high-conflict cycles and the “conversations that aren’t being had.” Her work addresses the specific nuances of LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent partnerships, including navigating sensory needs, executive function, and mismatched desire. Rather than following a standard relationship template, Lauren helps couples identify somatic triggers and move past repetitive blame cycles to design bespoke dynamics rooted in clarity rather than conflict.

Individual Therapy

For individuals, the work centres on dismantling the shame and anxiety that interrupt pleasure and agency. Lauren provides functional support for arousal, pain, and erectile or ejaculation difficulties, while holding space for sexual identity and LGBTQ+ exploration. Using Tantric frameworks and clear psychoeducation, she helps clients replace performance anxiety with authentic presence, allowing for a deeper understanding of the self without judgement.

Practical Frameworks

Sessions are structured and involved. Lauren provides clear frameworks to help you understand the “why” behind your patterns, paired with practical work to be explored privately between sessions. Her goal is to strip away the mask, reduce shame, and build a relationship rooted in what is actually happening underneath.

Group Support

Lauren also facilitates a weekly Neurodiversity Support Group at the Centre on Thursdays. It provides a supportive space to share experiences, reflect, and connect with others who understand the nuances of living with neurodivergence.

If you’d like to speak with Lauren or arrange an in-person session, she works from Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Henley-on-Thames on Thursdays. You’re very welcome to get in touch below.
