Marc Kirby

Marc Kirby works as an emotional well-being coach and trainer, bringing over 35 years of experience in workplace counselling, stress management, coaching, training, and teaching. He is dedicated to helping individuals manage and overcome common emotional challenges, particularly those linked to stress and anxious thinking, by teaching effective skills and strategies for mindset and behaviour. His goal is to help people stay present and grounded, and turn challenges into opportunities rather than adversity.

Marc believes that everyone has the potential to discover or rediscover their resourcefulness and resilience, allowing them to live their best lives. He understands that life, and often ourselves, can sometimes get in the way, resulting in unhelpful thoughts, behaviours, and emotions that prevent us from becoming the person we want to be. His coaching philosophy aligns with the belief that well-being is a personal responsibility, which is empowering because it means that individuals have the ability, power, and influence to change their circumstances.

Whether emotional challenges are affecting your personal or professional life, or you’re aiming to improve a specific situation and achieve particular goals, Marc offers a unique, supportive approach. His coaching is rooted in unconditional support, non-judgmental guidance, and a genuine commitment to each individual’s well-being. He works collaboratively with his clients through questioning, listening, feedback, and goal-setting to create a positive action plan. Marc often focuses on clients’ strengths—particularly character strengths—to enhance their well-being and help them get back on track.

In a coaching relationship, Marc Kirby helps clarify and make sense of the present situation, encourages the development of new coping strategies, and supports clients in crafting a positive action plan. His coaching leads to increased personal awareness and effectiveness, both at work and in personal life, as well as greater motivation, resourcefulness, self-confidence, and self-esteem. Clients also experience improved relationships and a clearer sense of personal and professional direction.

If you’re looking to achieve any of the following, Marc is ready to support you:
