Sarah works using an integrative therapeutic approach, recognising that each individual brings their own unique experiences and needs. She draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and compassion-focused approaches, working collaboratively with clients in one-to-one sessions to tailor support that feels both meaningful and effective. She is deeply committed to her work and is known for her compassionate, thoughtful, and dedicated approach.
Sarah has experience supporting individuals with a broad range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, high stress and burnout, as well as suicidal ideation, psychosis, and schizophrenia. She also supports those who may feel stuck, dissatisfied, or unfulfilled in their lives.
In addition to her clinical work, Sarah develops and facilitates six-week workshops in and around the Henley area titled Your Mind Matters. These small, supportive group sessions are carefully tailored to participants’ needs and are designed to be informative, practical, and engaging.
Alongside her private one-to-one practice and group workshops, Sarah regularly offers her time to local schools and GP surgeries, delivering education and training focused on suicide awareness and prevention. She has provided multiple trainings, interviews, and free video resources, particularly supporting individuals and communities with limited access to funded services.
Sarah has been a registered Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) since 2014. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Psychosocial Interventions with distinction at the University of York. In 2017, she became an NMC-certified sign-off mentor. Sarah also holds an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
Sarah is a member of several professional organisations, including the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA). She is actively engaged within Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) communities and has a strong interest in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
