Marian Martin

Person-Centred Trainee Counsellor

About Me:

Marian Martin is a Student Counsellor at the Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Henley.

There are many reasons why life can be difficult. Marian believes counselling can help you work out what’s going on so you can improve your well-being and relationships – now and for the future.

As a Person-Centred trainee counsellor, she provides a warm, non-judgemental environment where you can talk, without pressure, about thoughts and feelings that are hard to share with anyone else. She understands that therapy can feel daunting, and trust and collaboration are vital. So she works with you at your pace to identify the changes you want then supports you as you put them in place.

Marian also recognises that everyone is different and respects diversity, autonomy, and confidentiality.

After working in small and large organisations, and years of volunteering for mental health charities, she’s now studying a therapeutic counselling diploma at Basingstoke College and provides low-cost face-to-face and online sessions at Cherry Tree Centre.
