Life is full of changes, both expected and unexpected. Major life changes can have a significant impact on an individual’s circumstances, emotions, work life, and daily routines. Our workshop on managing change will look at effective tools and techniques to help you navigate change better.

Major life changes can include:

• Becoming a parent
• Starting a new job or retirement
• Marriage, divorce, infidelity, or separation
• Empty nest syndrome (children leaving home)
• Recovery from a health issue
• Death of a loved one or coping with the loss of a pet
• Coming out as LGBTQ+
• Changes in family dynamics (e.g., blended families)
• Becoming a caregiver for aging parents

It’s important to note that these major life changes can affect individuals differently, and their impact may vary based on an individual’s personality, support system, resources, and coping mechanisms. Some changes may be positive and welcomed, while others may be challenging and require adjustment and resilience. People often go through a combination of these changes throughout their lives, which is why managing change effectively is so important.

This 90-minute workshop on managing change will help equip you with the skills and mindset to embrace uncertainty, adapt to new situations, and face unexpected shifts with increased confidence.
