Pluralistic Counsellor / Hypnotherapist / Hypno4Children ™Practitioner

Danielle Killick is a qualified pluralistic counsellor and hypnotherapist at the Cherry Tree Centre in Henley-on-Thames.

Danielle was a teacher for 20 years and has now further developed her love for making deep caring connections with others, by qualifying as a hypnotherapist and counsellor.  The approach she uses incorporates aspects of the humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT approaches, so sessions are tailored to the client’s needs.  Whether you need support processing trauma from your past, exploring relationships or help to reframe negative thought patterns, she will be able to help you navigate through these difficult times with a modality that suits you.

I understand that embarking on a therapeutic journey may seem daunting, making you feel vulnerable and alone.  I ensure that each of my clients feels supported, safe and heard.  Building a strong therapeutic relationship, which is based on respect, trust and compassion is key, and from here positive changes can be made.”

Danielle Killick is also a Hypno4children™ practitioner and works with children and young people from 5 – 18 years with a range of issues including; anxiety, low self-esteem and confidence, exam stress, managing behaviours and coping at school, separation anxiety, sleep issues, phobias and more.  These sessions are best held face-to-face and are tailored to the needs of the child or young person.   Together we build a well-being toolkit and work on the presenting issues using a combination of CBT, NLP, psychoeducation and hypnotherapy.  Sessions are interactive, creative and forward-thinking.

“I work both face-to-face and online and can accommodate therapy for as long as needed.  Ensuring you feel safe, comfortable and understood is of great importance to me.  I am person-centred at heart and our sessions together will be client-led.”
