Training Objective

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS ) are the only National Charity to concentrate solely on Peer Support for adults bereaved or impacted by suicide and as such they have a great deal of experience, gathered over the 32 years the charity has been in existence.

SOBS will be providing the Cherry Tree Centre with a 3-hour workshop which will be delivered online via Zoom.

This workshop will cover all aspects of suicide bereavement including the complexities of a suicide bereavement, the language to use, and how to support someone who has been bereaved by suicide. During the session, they will also talk about resources available to support someone bereaved by suicide such as Help is at Hand, and will provide information on how to obtain free resources for clients.
