Counselling & professional Supervision

Counselling Supervision

Counselling supervision is an essential part of the counselling process that helps to ensure the quality of care that clients receive. It involves a trained and experienced supervisor working closely with a counsellor to review and reflect on their work with clients, to offer guidance and support, and to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

At the Cherry Tree Centre in Henley, counselling supervision is taken seriously, with a dedicated team of experienced supervisors who work closely with the centre’s counsellors to provide high-quality care to clients.

The centre’s approach to supervision is collaborative and supportive, with supervisors working closely with counsellors to ensure that they feel valued and supported in their work. The supervisors at the centre are all experienced counsellors themselves, with a range of specialist skills and knowledge in areas such as addiction, trauma, bereavement, psychosexual and relationship issues.

The supervision process at the Cherry Tree Centre involves regular one-to-one sessions with a supervisor, during which the counsellor can discuss their work with clients and receive guidance and support. Supervision sessions are confidential and non-judgmental, and aim to provide a safe and supportive environment in which counsellors can reflect on their practice and develop their skills.

In addition to one-to-one supervision, the Cherry Tree Centre also offers group supervision, where counsellors can come together to share their experiences and learn from each other. Group supervision is a valuable opportunity for counsellors to gain new insights into their work and to receive feedback and support from their peers.

Overall, the counselling supervision at the Cherry Tree Centre in Henley is a vital part of the centre’s commitment to providing high-quality care to clients. With a team of experienced and supportive supervisors, the centre’s counsellors can be confident in their practice and feel supported and valued in their work.
