Our 90-minute workshop is designed to enhance your business skills and support your journey towards a successful career as a counsellor in private practice.
Training Objective
The workshop is aimed at newly qualified counsellors, psychotherapists, or therapists who are finding it challenging to develop a thriving counselling practice.
The workshop will explore the steps that new therapists should take when setting up their practice, with tips on how to build their client list and maintain a healthy business.
We will delve into topics to equip new therapists starting in private practice. We will explore each stage of the journey from preparation, marketing, seeing clients, to maintaining a healthy client list and exploring areas of future growth.
Students on placement with Cherry Tree Therapy Centre
An extra 30-minute session will be offered to Cherry Tree trainees and will include information on transitioning clients from the low-cost service into private clients.
